BLOG ASSIGNMENT # 5 AMBITION.
Is ambition something absolutely positive? Is there a dark side to it? How do you feel and think about ambition?
Aiming to be the best is what ambition means to me. Aiming in terms of being the top in the class or possibly the grade. In order to get me there, I have to work hard to earn that accomplishment. When this ambition comes to me, I will try my best to get there. In order to be the best you must beat the best. In my case, determination is something that is absolutely positive. When I take a viewpoint into working and taking pride, there is something that comes to me that is positive. Since I am writing a desire that I consider positive, there will not be an evil side to it. When I think about ambition, I believe that it exists for the rest of your life from getting into college to raising your family. I feel confident about my ambition because I know what to do in the future as time flies. Just as I aim to fit my ambition, I know that new situations and conflicts will come to me.
If you really wanted something, and someone predicted that you were going to get it, how would that prediction affect your behavior? As much as possible, support your reflections with examples.
If I really wanted something and someone predicted that I was going to obtain it, that prediction will affect my behavior in numerous ways. Firstly, my behavior will be kept positive in a way. In order to keep it positive, I have to obtain what I want my earning it rather than cheat my way to receive it. By all means, earning the prize is always better than stealing it. For example, if I want a pair of shoes that was worth 60 dollars, I would work for it rather than ask for money to pay for the item. When someone predicts that I will get what I want, I must understand that it sometimes will not happen. That is how a prediction will affect my behavior in relation to how someone predicts that I will get something that I really want.
This is really good. You have a great understanding for the meaning of ambition.
